After Release

After Release – Jail Ministry Aftercare Program

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you
will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven.” Luke 6:37

Men and women who have been or are being released from a correctional facility face many challenges.  Many have lost their jobs, their family, their friends, their homes, and their self-esteem.  The reality is that now these men and women need help more than ever.  There are several good reasons to assist these individuals.  Spiritually, they need a time and a place to explore their faith and find a place with God.  Socially, these men and women need friends and mentors to help them rebuild their lives.  Economically, it would certainly be best if these individuals become productive members of society as soon as possible. They need a job.

Aftercare Services

The Aftercare Program is designed to provide assistance to those recently released from a correctional facility or to those with an incarceration history within the last 2 years.  The assistance provided is varied but is intended to be more immediate and temporary as opposed to long range help.
