About Us
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization. Its active volunteer members are referred to as “Vincentians”, or followers of St. Vincent de Paul, who dedicated his life to finding Jesus in his ministry with the poor.
Vincentian members work in unity out of their local Catholic church. Respecting the dignity of each person, St. Vincent de Paul members bring hope, help and prayer to our neighbors in need so they may find stability and move toward self-sufficiency.
We are not a social service agency. We are a person-to-person Catholic ministry that sees the face of Christ in those who are suffering. A St. Vincent de Paul conference group is in nearly every Catholic church in Waukesha County and throughout the Milwaukee Archdiocese, in every state in the nation and in 150 countries around the world.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is non-profit registered 501(c)(3) organization.
