Bringing Help and Hope – Neighbors Helping Neighbors

St. Vincent de Paul of Waukesha County is a group of lay Catholic volunteers from all walks of life – neighbors helping neighbors right here in Waukesha County whose outreach has no faith boundary. Assistance may include emergency rent, utilities, food, clothing, household goods, referral services and programming to help navigate a path to financial stability. On a person-to-person basis, members offer help, hope, and encouragement to people in need – an ear to listen, a hand in a time of crisis, a hope to guide people toward programs that can bring lasting change to their lives, and mentoring to encourage those on a path to financial stability.             ​​​​​     ​​

St. Vincent de Paul Getting Ahead Program Featured on Fox6.

Getting Ahead Financial Workshops recently celebrated their 40th graduating class and were featured on Fox6 Cents. These workshops make a measurable difference in participants’ financial health—more than 50% of graduates have one or fewer late payments within the first three months after completing the program, resulting in improved credit scores and greater financial stability.  Watch the Fox6 Cents feature here: 40th Graduation. Register for the 2026 Neighbors Helping Neighbors Golf Outing presented by Waterstone Bank

Our 2026 Golf Outing is on Monday, August 10, at the Broadlands Golf Club in North Prairie, WI.  The outing raises critical funds for St. Vincent de Paul to provide rent assistance, utility assistance, emergency aid, and much more to our Waukesha neighbors.  This event sold out in 2025.
